Knowledge workers spend 88 per cent of their working time communicating through various channels. Some 75 per cent say they communicate more frequently and on more channels than they did last year:

• For every 40-hour working week, 10.5 hours are spent communicating in meetings.
• 19 hours per week are spent on written communication.

According to research, miscommunication cost companies in the US and UK up to $37 billion a year - $26,000 per employee. Poor communication increases stress and reduces productivity, trust and satisfaction in the workplace.

Human Interaction: New training track for better internal communication

Companies from all sectors can now benefit from our many years of experience in science communication, where the challenge is often to present complex content in an understandable way:

"Human Interaction" is the name of IISC's new training track that provides practical tips on how to improve internal communication. In addition to company-specific in-house seminars, we also offer keynote speeches for internal company events.

Our approach

In the workshops, we work on texts that everyone can understand. Meetings are trained in front of the camera to analyse your own non-verbal communication. Of course, video meetings will also be practised.

As always, the content of IISC seminars is tailored to the individual needs and issues of the company.
